We are seeking a CNC Operator who is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers. This role involves working in a production environment with a focus on precision manufacturing. Candidates should be mechanically inclined with a demonstrated aptitude for mechanical measurement. Experience in a similar machine shop environment is a plus.

Requirements

• Ability to read dimensional prints
• Experience operating and programming lathes and milling machines
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines
• Assist other machinists with troubleshooting
• Read and interpret mechanical schematics
• Identify and resolve machining issues with the Lead Programmer
• Keep records of production, machine settings, and maintenance activities
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean work environment

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience setting up and operating CNC machines
• Basic reading, writing, and measurement skills
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows, Word, and Excel
• Ability to read mechanical schematics and use measuring tools like CMM, micrometer, and calipers
