Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division seeks a P&R Manufacturing Cells Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and operate conventional machines and NC/CNC equipment, performing turning, drilling, tapping, milling and related operations to produce explosion‑proof parts. You will load castings and bar stock, adjust tooling, monitor cycles with gauges, inspect parts for tolerances, and maintain a clean, organized cell.

Qualifications

• 6 months manufacturing experience
• 6 months NC/CNC experience
• High School Diploma or GED (or GED)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional machines; and operate NC/CNC and automatic chucking machines to perform turning, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, threading, forming, facing, milling, slotting, grooving, chamfering, serrating and deburring operations to produce explosion-proof parts.
• Position parts into chucks, fixtures or loading devices; adjust tooling to maintain specified dimensions; load materials; monitor cycles and inspect parts for tolerances using gauges and visual checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized cell; assist in TPM activities; document basic records and maintain safety and quality standards.
