Job summary

Clark’s Lumber & Millwork, Inc. in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an experienced CNC Millwork Programmer to support our growing manufacturing operation. You will program CNC equipment for millwork and cabinetry, read shop drawings, and optimize toolpaths to maximize material yield.

Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve manufacturing issues, improve efficiency, and ensure machining quality. This role offers a hands-on, shop-floor environment with room to contribute and grow.

Qualifications

Experience programming CNC equipment for millwork or cabinetry.
Ability to read shop drawings and technical drawings.
Hands-on CNC machining or machine operation preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize CNC programs and toolpaths from shop drawings and CAD files.
Develop nesting layouts to maximize material yield and reduce waste.
Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues with production staff.
Improve CNC efficiency, accuracy, and overall machining quality.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve manufacturing issues.
