Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Numerϊcal Control Milling Machine Operator to join the Fabrication team in Everett, Renton, Auburn, and Puyallup, WA. Onsite role focusing on setup, operation, and tool changes for high-precision milling components.

You will read drawings, prep machines, and verify part conformity while maintaining safety and quality standards. Requires 1+ year CNC experience and ability to lift up to 35 lb.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience using precision measuring tools.
• 1+ year operating CNC machines and writing/editing CNC programs.
• 1+ year computer literacy (internet, email, Microsoft Office).
• 1+ year reading blueprints and assembly instructions or drawings.
• 1+ year operating 3, 4, or 5 axis NC/CNC machines.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust numerically controlled milling machines, using control media, program documents, fixtures, and cutting tools.
• Obtain information from drawings, documents, sketches, and verbal instructions for machining.
• Prepare and adjust machines, including installing tools during cycles as authorized.
• Use measuring instruments to check tools and parts for conformance to specs.
• Assist engineers in determining the final NC program as authorized.
• Mount and check cutting tools in holders and magazines.
• Report and address machine malfunctions and tool faults.
• Load, preload, and position fixtures at program stops.
