Qualifications

• 1+ years experience using precision measuring tools.
• 1+ years operating CNC machines and editing CNC programs.
• 1+ years computer/office applications experience.
• 1+ years reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
• 1+ years operating 3-5 axis NC/CNC machine tools.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust NC milling machines to meet quality requirements.
• Obtain information from drawings and instructions to prepare for machining.
• Install and adjust cutting tools during cycles as authorized.
• Use gauges to check tools and parts against specifications.
• Assist planners or programmers in final NC program determination.
• Mount and check cutting tools in holders and load tools properly.
• Initiate corrective action for machine malfunctions and faulty tools.
• Load, preload, and position fixtures at program stops.
