Job summary

Boeing in Everett, WA is seeking a Numerical Control Milling Machine Operator to join our Fabrication team. You will set up, operate and adjust 3- to 5-axis NC/CNC milling machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet stringent specs.

This onsite role emphasizes safety, precision and adherence to quality standards, with exposure to measuring devices and tools while maintaining regulatory compliance. Candidates must be able to work onsite in WA and meet shift requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience with precision measuring tools.
• Experience operating CNC machines and writing/editing CNC programs.
• Proficient with computers for login, emails, and program documents.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience operating 3- to 5-axis NC/CNC machine tools.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust numerically controlled milling machines with tools and fixtures.
• Obtain information from drawings and documents to prepare machining operations.
• Prepare and adjust machines, install cutting tools during cycles as authorized.
• Use gauges to check tools and parts for conformance to specs.
• Assist planners in determining the final NC program.
• Mount/check tools in holders, ensure proper loading in magazines/spindles.
• Report machine malfunctions and take corrective action per shop practices.
• Load, preload, and position fixtures at program stops.
