Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking a CNC Machinist to transform raw materials into aerospace components. You will set up and operate milling machines, read complex blueprints, and ensure quality through precise measurements.

You will collaborate with quality and management, perform inspections, maintain documentation, and uphold safety. Experience with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges is preferred; high school diploma or GED required, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
• Solid knowledge of drilling, turning and tapping processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and operate CNC milling machines to fabricate parts per specifications.
• Perform manual deburring and finishing to meet design requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision instruments to verify outputs against routing documents.
• Maintain equipment performance through daily preventive maintenance and keep a clean, safe workspace.
• Collaborate with quality and management to troubleshoot machining issues and improve production flow.
• Manage production documentation and inspection records for traceability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and operate CNC milling machinery to fabricate precise parts according to technical specifications.
• Execute manual deburring and finishing operations to ensure components meet exact design requirements.
• Perform consistent quality inspections using precision measuring tools to verify that all outputs align with process routing documents.
• Maintain equipment performance through daily preventative maintenance and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and management, to troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize production flow.
• Manage production documentation and inspection records with high attention to detail to maintain traceability and compliance.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of hands‑on experience with Vertical or Horizontal CNC Milling.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Strong foundational knowledge of machining processes including drilling, turning, and tapping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience operating Bridgeport machines.
• Proven track record of inspection competence in a high‑tolerance manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving capabilities.
