Job description

The Setup Machinist will be responsible for the setup and operation of complex (4 and 5 axis) jobs on our CNC mills. They will ensure their parts meet quality standards and are responsible for 1st part approval, prior to turning over the machine to an operator.He or she will assist in the training of other Axial employees as required.

The goal is to produce high quality parts by following strict manufacturing procedures and ensuring machine cycle time is optimized. A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
