Job summary

Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC in Thornton, CO is seeking a CNC Programmer I to program parts for a CNC mill using basic Mastercam functions. This full-time, non-exempt role involves programming, setup, and collaboration with QC for new inspection requirements. Compensation ranges from $25 to $36 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years machine shop experience required.
• 0-2 years of experience programming CNC mills required.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up CNC milling operations.
• Use Mastercam and/or conversational control to complete tasks.
• Provide programming and set-up support for existing jobs.
• Create setup sheets with tool lists and run instructions.
• Read and interpret 2D/3D drawings and models.
• Use hand tools on machined parts as needed.
• Train machine operators to run set-up jobs.
• Collaborate with QC for new inspection requirements.
• Assist with fixtures as needed.
• Load tools and step through new programs.
• Use inspection tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Perform other duties as required.
