Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC milling programming experience in metal stamping environments.
• Advanced proficiency with CAM tools Mastercam, GibbsCAM or similar.
• Strong G-code knowledge and machining fundamentals.
• Excellent reading of blueprints, CAD models and GD&T.
• Diagnose machining and programming issues to maintain throughput and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own programming for 3–4 axis VMCs and develop efficient toolpaths.
• Translate blueprints, CAD models and GD&T into machining strategies.
• Create and maintain setup sheets: setups, tooling, pickup points, toolpaths, stock grind.
• Program and sustain InspecVision optical inspection routines for automated verification.
• Troubleshoot issues to protect uptime and schedules.
• Lead continuous process improvements to reduce cycle times and elevate quality.
• Manage tooling purchasing, inventory, and life tracking per BOMs.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, operators, quality and production leaders.
• Maintain version-controlled docs aligned with ECNs and customer requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and uphold quality standards.
