Job summary

CCT Enterprises in Auburn, IN is seeking a 2nd shift CNC Machinist to operate CNC mills, load/unload parts, and hit production targets with consistent quality. You will read blueprints, perform tool touch-offs, and support lean initiatives in a team-oriented environment.

Focus on accuracy, safety, and attention to detail while advancing toward CNC Set-Up paths as you gain experience. Benefits include training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to read basic blueprints and perform shop math.
• Experience measuring with calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with JobBOSS or similar systems is a plus.
• Good English reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills (VMCs) using setup sheets and work instructions.
• Load/unload parts safely; perform routine tool touch-offs and changes as directed.
• Hit production targets while maintaining quality.
• Escalate tooling, machine, or production concerns affecting quality or throughput.
• Perform in-process checks with calipers and micrometers; read basic blueprints.
• Complete JobBOSS entries, job travelers, and quality records accurately.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives; assist teammates as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, E-stops, and housekeeping standards.
