Job summary

TAIT is seeking a CNC Operator in Lititz, PA to machine parts using milling equipment with limited supervision. Level II machinists will run operations, perform prove-outs, and inspect first articles, while guiding junior staff. The role requires experience, precision, and initiative in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will set up milling tools, program CNC machines, and optimize processes to meet production goals. Strong attention to detail and flexibility for overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams accurately.
• Proficient with G-code and CAM software for milling.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
• High attention to detail with ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job kits with some assistance.
• Program CNC milling machines using CAM software with limited support.
• Set up products on milling tools and verify with first article inspection.
• Create and edit CNC offsets for fixtures and tooling.
• Operate multiple machine tools and monitor tool wear and breakage.
• Utilize ERP for tracking and ensure quality at completion.
• Provide guidance to lower-level machinists and interns.
