Job summary

Cirtec Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Machinist II to set up and maintain presses or CNC equipment. You will be self-motivated, ensure on-time delivery, and support program changes with troubleshooting expertise.

Shift is 5:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday, with compensation ranging from $26 to $30 per hour based on experience. You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams to produce high-quality parts, adhere to blueprints, and uphold safety and process controls as part of a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years machining experience including setups and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Inspection experience using microscopes, calipers, dial indicators and vision systems.
• Understanding of geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes all department paperwork including job travelers, inspection documentation, work packet information, and tooling request forms.
• Builds quality parts using knowledge of blueprints.
• Uses knowledge of machine functions, tool and work offsets, to adjust for quality.
• Regularly inspects parts according to process to ensure quality.
• Maintains a high level of efficient production.
• Interacts with engineering and quality teams to solve problems.
• Setups and runs assigned jobs/projects.
• Troubleshoot quality problems using process controls and corrective actions.
• Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
