Cirtec Medical seeks a Machinist II to set up and maintain presses or CNC equipment, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality parts. You will troubleshoot machine and tooling issues and assist supervisors, leads, and programmers as needed.

The role requires strong reading of blueprints, geometric tolerancing, and inspection skills, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years machining experience with setups and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Inspection experience using microscopes, calipers, dial indicators and vision systems.
• Geometric tolerancing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes all department paperwork including travelers and inspections.
• Builds quality parts using blueprints and measuring devices.
• Uses machine functions and offsets to ensure quality parts.
• Regularly inspects parts to confirm conformance to process.
• Maintains efficient production and collaborates with engineering and quality.
• Sets up and runs assigned jobs/projects.
• Troubleshoots quality issues with process controls and corrective actions.
• Adheres to company, quality and safety standards.
