Job summary

Krones Inc. in the United States (WI) is seeking a CNC Machinist for the Milling Department on 3rd shift, with 1st shift training. The role involves performing a series of complex machine operations to produce parts per prints.

Candidates should have 5 years CNC mill setup/programming experience, Mazak/Mazak experience preferred, strong math skills, and the ability to read detailed drawings. Shift premiums, sign-on bonuses, and a team-oriented environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; advanced education or apprenticeship preferred.
• 5 years CNC mill set-up and programming/editing experience required.
• Mazak experience preferred.
• Strong editing of G-code and Mazatrol programming required.
• Strong math skills and ability to read detailed part drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machine
• Setup, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per prints
• Edit in G-code and manually program using Mazatrol Control
• Setup fixturing and come up with your own setups on machine
• Perform first piece and in-process quality inspections
• Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specification, and tolerances
• Meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements
• Use measuring devices like micrometers and calipers to ensure specifications are met
• Perform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S)
• Operate other machines in the department as needed
