Qualifications

1+ years of experience using precision measuring tools.
1+ years operating NC/CNC milling machines.
1+ years reading blueprints and assembly instructions.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust numerically controlled milling machines, using control media and tools.
Obtain information from drawings and documents to prepare for machining operations.
Make preparations and adjustments to ready the machine for operation, including tool changes.
Use gauges to check tools and parts for conformance to specs.
Assist programmers in finalizing NC programs as needed.
Mount tools and ensure proper loading in holders and spindles.
Initiate corrective actions for machine malfunctions and faulty tools.
Load and position fixtures at designated program stops.
