Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our client’s shop in the CT area. The role focuses on setup (90%), operation, and minor machine adjustments with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with 5-axis/multi-axis CNC centers and blueprints. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC machining centers, performing tool changes, and ensuring quality through hand-tool inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience setting up and running lathes and mills.
• Ability to select tools and set feeds and speeds.
• Strong ability to inspect machined parts with precision tools.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Job description

Our Client is Seeking a CNC Milling Machinist with at least 4 & 5-Axis Experience. The Candidate will be required to perform Setup (90%), Operate Machines and Adjust Machines with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.
• Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes. Works from Blueprint

Requirements.

• 5 years experience minimum set up andrunning lathes and mills. Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds.
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.
• Able to work Independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.)
• Re-orders Tools as needed.
• High School Diploma / GED 2-3 Years of Experience in CNC 5-Axis Milling Setup and Operations
