Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced VMC CAM Programmer & Optical Inspection Systems Specialist in Mendota Heights, MN. You will program and optimize 3–4 axis milling on VMCs, craft toolpaths, and manage InspecVision quality checks in a metal stamping setting.

You’ll read blueprints with GD&T, select tools, and document setups while collaborating across design, production, and quality teams to drive efficiency and accuracy on each run.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience in metal stamping.
• Proficiency with Mastercam or GibbsCAM and G-code.
• Strong ability to read blueprints/CAD drawings with GD&T.
• Experience with optical inspection systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, edit, and optimize CNC milling operations for 3–4 axis VMCs using Mastercam or GibbsCAM.
• Create machining programs for tooling components and precision parts in stamping environments.
• Maintain InspecVision optical inspection for automated quality verification.
• Read prints and apply GD&T to define machining strategies and tooling.
• Develop setup sheets, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
