Job summary

Titan Motorsport and Automotive Engineering in New Mexico seeks a CNC Machinist to program, set up and operate Haas- or Fanuc-controlled milling machines, reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment.

You will work with 5-axis capabilities and castings, following Quality Management and Health & Safety procedures to deliver high-quality components on time.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating a CNC milling machine (Haas or Fanuc).
• Proficient reading engineering drawings and measuring components with appropriate equipment.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and castings.
• Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set up and operate CNC milling machines to engineering drawings.
• Machine components from various materials using precision measuring equipment.
• Follow Quality Management and Health & Safety procedures to ensure on-time manufacture.

The Role

To program, set and operate CNC milling machines in order to manufacture high quality, precision machined components.

Activities

To machine components from a range of raw materials to the exacting standards of the engineering drawing supplied. Components should be manufactured utilising the relevant measuring equipment and by following the company’s Quality Management and Health and Safety procedures ensuring quality, timely manufacture.

The Person

• Experience within a precision engineering environment, programming, setting and operating a CNC milling machine with Haas or Fanuc based CNC control. Must be able to read an engineering drawing and use all relevant measurement equipment.


• Experience using a 5th axis and machining castings.


• Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.


• Desired - Maths GCSE.
