Job summary

Jobandtalent in Auburn Hills is seeking a CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak) to program and operate Mazak CNC mills for short-run production of welding fixtures.

The position requires reading blueprints, Mazatrol programming, and precision measurement with micrometers and calipers. 1st shift is 6:30am–3:00pm. This is a permanent role with a 90‑day contract to direct hire upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience programming and operating Mazak CNC mills.
• Ability to read blueprints proficiently.
• Ability to program with Mazatrol controls.
• Ability to proficiently use measuring instruments such as mics and calipers.
• Willingness to take training CNC classes as needed for complex machining.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate Mazak CNC mills for short-run machining (1-10 pieces).
• Machine parts for welding fixtures using mild steel, copper, and aluminum.
• Program from prints using Mazatrol controls.

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak) to work with a leading manufacturer of welding fixtures in Auburn Hills. This role involves programming and operating Mazak CNC mills for short-run production of specialized fixtures.
Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Friday, 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Pay Rates:

• 30.00 - 37.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak):

• More than 5 years of experience programming and operating Mazak CNC mills
• Ability to read blueprints proficiently
• Ability to program with Mazatrol controls
• Ability to proficiently use measuring instruments such as mics and calipers
