Job summary

D&E Machining is seeking a CNC Machinist Mill Operator with 2+ years of experience for full-time or part-time roles. The position offers flexible hours on 1st and 2nd shifts, with a substantial shift differential for 2nd shift.

The successful candidate will operate CNC milling machines, edit programs as needed, and contribute to efficiency improvements. Essential duties include setup, part machining to drawings, quality assurance, and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED; 2+ years CNC Milling experience preferred.
• Able to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Experience with CMMs is desirable; basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Upload/download from the machine control.
• Setup and run equipment as assigned.
• Machine parts to required tolerance on machine drawing.
• Perform quality assurance for all parts machined.
• Assist in training of new operators as needed.
• Participate in ISO-9001 through continuous improvement training.
• Keep machine area clean and safe.
• Fill out inspection logs, travelers, and time slips.
