Ampcus Inc. is seeking a CNC Mill Operator for 2nd shift in Fenton, MO. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mills and lathes with emphasis on 3 and 5 axis milling.

Reading blueprints, selecting tools, and ensuring tolerances are met will be essential. Responsibilities include tool selection, measuring with micrometers/calipers, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and collaborating with supervisors to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year CNC experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand 90% of the shift.

Responsabilités

• Setup, layout, and operate various CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications and tooling instructions.
• Select, position, and secure tools and workpieces.
• Adjust machine settings for specified feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
• Use precision measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers.
• Ensure machined workpieces conform to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Follow company rules and safety policies.
• Discuss errors with supervisors or engineers to clarify assembly problems.
• Perform assembly-type functions using hand or power tools.
• Meet efficiency rates and perform quality checks.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Be flexible to rotate job assignments within various work cells.
