Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. is seeking a motivated CNC Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) in Olive Branch, MS.

You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts, prepare machines, monitor production, and inspect components to ensure quality requirements are met. Key duties include reading blueprints, loading materials, performing test runs, and maintaining logs while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate CNC machines for drilling and milling tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Perform test runs and adjust settings to meet specs.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust for optimal results.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment.
• Maintain accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation.
• Keep work areas clean and organized per safety standards.
• Support team scheduling, training, and workflow coordination.
