Job summary

Durex Industries seeks a CNC Operator, Mill (1st shift) to prepare and set up turning and milling centers to fabricate precision parts. You will verify parts and document actions to ensure quality and traceability.

The role requires reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges; experience with CNC controls and close-tolerance work is preferred. A high school diploma and strong safety mindset are expected.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finder and blueprints.
Basic understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools.
Basic mechanical skills.
Ability to deburr and handle parts to customer requirements.
Work independently and safety/quality minded.

Responsibilities

Fabricates precision-machined parts by operating turning centers and milling centers per work orders, routers & blueprints.
Set-up close tolerance and conventional equipment by studying drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals.
Documents actions by signing-off and completing forms, reports, logs and records.
Performs quality tests and operational checks.
Verifies parts by using precision measuring equipment.
May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
