Job Summary

CLIENT is looking for a skilled 1st shift Milling / Turning Machinist (Manual & CNC) with manual lathe thread cutting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and engineering plans, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Run first‑part proofs and verify settings to ISO/AS 9100 standards.
• Troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, and maintain equipment (preventive maintenance, 5S methodologies).
• Perform mechanical assembly/disassembly of complex aerospace tooling to precise specifications.
• Conduct manual grinding and manage thread insert repair/installation.
• Maintain production logs and shift handovers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: HS Diploma / GED or equivalent (technical school preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of combined shop experience in CNC (G&M code programming) and hands‑on manual machining (milling and lathe).

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of GD&T, proven ability to perform complex machine setups, strong mathematical skills, and excellent communication.
