Job summary

PHD, Inc. Huntington Facility in Huntington, IN is seeking a CNC Machinist for 1st shift to set up and operate CNC Mills, load parts, and optimize tooling and programs. You will ensure quality via GD&T, perform secondary operations, and coordinate with inventory for timely shipments.

Responsibilities include program creation/modification, tool management, and precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and CMM, while collaborating with QA, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year machining experience.
• Experience with CNC Mills and working in independent and team settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mill machines for turning and milling.
• Load/unload parts and maintain efficient machine operation.
• Create, manage, and modify CNC programs and offsets.
• Set up tooling and establish proper feeds and speeds.
• Perform secondary operations using shop equipment.
• Inspect parts with gauges, micrometers, calipers, and CMM per GD&T.
• Coordinate with inventory to verify stock and prepare for shipment.
• Communicate production status and needs with supervisor and other departments.
