Job summary

API Delevan, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the mills on the 2nd shift at our Simi Valley, CA site. You will set up, operate, and adjust CNC Mill machines to produce parts according to drawings and written instructions.

Reading CNC programs and making necessary offsets may be required. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of CNC Mills experience, the ability to read blueprints, and perform in-process inspections with precision.

Qualifications

• Three+ years experience operating CNC Mills.
• Ability to read and interpret CNC programs.
• Able to read blueprints and measurements used in machining.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC Mill machines from drawings and written instructions.
• Perform offsets to programs and conduct in-process quality inspection.
• Identify process improvements to reduce part quality variation.
• Input data into visual management forms and report results to management.
• Support lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
