CNC Mill Machinist II

2nd shift ~ 10 hour days ~ Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm – 1:15am.

Details:

• W2 only
• No C2C
• Contract for hire
• Onsite Role
• Location: Shoreview, MN
• Pay Rate: $30.25 - $32.00 ~ DOQ

The Job:

• Set-up, adjust, operate, and edit programs for CNC mills and lathes, including manual mills and lathes.
• Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Work from complex blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to perform production tasks, including cutting and shaping metal to precision dimensions.
• Operate all available machine tools with minimal supervision to produce parts from various materials.

Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Voc-tech machinist program with 1+ years of experience.
• Alternatively, 5+ years of directly related machining experience without formal education or training.

Desired:

• Experience working in a high-tech machine shop environment.
