CNC Mill Machinist II

2nd shift ~ 10 hour days~ Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm – 1:15am.

Contract to hire

Onsite Role

Location: Shoreview, MN ~ Onsite role

The Job:

• Set-up, adjusts, operate and edit program a variety of machines, which will include CNC mills and or CNC lathes and which may include manual mills, manual lathes.

• Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.

• Works from complex blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.

• Minimal supervision to set up and operate all available machine tools to perform various machine operations on parts that are made from various materials.

Required:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Graduate of a Vo-tech machinist program and 1+ years of experience.

• No formal education or training will require 5+ years of directly related machining experience.

• Experience working in a machine shop in a high technology environment
