Job summary

H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an Assembler to join our 1st shift. You will assemble components from blueprints, use hand tools and machinery, and ensure parts meet specifications.

The role is full-time with a 6:00am-4:30pm schedule and pay starting from $22 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with match and PTO, to support career growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and micrometers.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience with hand tools, fabrication, and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Paints, polishes, cleans assembled products as necessary per customer requirements with various chemical solutions.
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery to assemble products.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring complete components.

Job Title: Assembler

Position Overview:

The Assembler will perform assembly duties as assigned using blueprints, standard procedures, tools, materials, hardware, machines and equipment in support of assembly and other process operations to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, and grasp.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Working Conditions:
  • Regular exposure to machinery, metal materials, and industrial noise.
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet production demands.
