Job description

Overview

Pharmaworks, a ProMach brand, is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join its Odessa, FL facility. The role involves producing high‑precision parts using established machine shop best practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce high‑precision parts on CNC mills, preferably HAAS 3‑axis.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances in metric dimensioning.
• Edit and verify programs on the HAAS conversational control for multi‑axis parts.
• Set up parts and cutting tools accurately.
• Develop and produce fixtures when needed.
• Inspect close‑tolerance part features using gauge blocks, indicators, bore gages, and micrometers.
• Machine a variety of materials: aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and engineered plastics.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Work occasional overtime as required.
• Handle weights up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, associate degree, trade school training, or apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline or tool and die making.
• 2+ years operating CNC mills, preferably HAAS 3‑axis.
• Ability to read technical drawings and tolerances in metric dimensioning.
• Proficiency with HAAS conversational control for multi‑axis parts.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate setup skills.
• Experience with fixture development.
• Experience inspecting close‑tolerance parts.
• Familiarity with machining aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and engineered plastics.
• Commitment to good manufacturing practices.
• Team player.
