Job summary

Webco Manufacturing, Inc. in Baldwin City, KS, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate precision mills and lathes, read blueprints, perform measurements, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances.

This full-time, Mon-Fri position runs 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with OT opportunities. Webco Manufacturing, Inc. offers an ESOP, quarterly bonus potential, a robust benefits package, and a home-grown, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience
• Ability to work 7am-3:30pm, M-F
• Basic math and instruction-following
• Accurately interpret geometric tolerances
• Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Use precision tools and equipment, such as drill presses and lathes.
• Operate CNC mills, lathes and related machinery to produce items.
• Read blueprints, perform measurements, gauging, and inspections to meet specs.
• Understand and comply with ISO 9001 regulations.
• Machining parts from raw stock or welded materials.
• Regularly clean and maintain machinery and equipment.

Job duties

• Use a variety of precision and cutting tools and equipment, such as a drill press, and lathes.


• Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes and other machinery to produce items as required.


• Reads blueprints, performs measurements, gauging, and inspections as required. Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications.


• Understand and comply with industry regulations ISO 9001.


• Machining parts from raw stock or welded materials.


• Regularly clean, and maintain machinery and equipment as needed.
