Job summary

StenTech is seeking a dependable Metals Machine Operator (CNC) for our Hillsboro, OR facility. You will operate CNC machines, read blueprints and travelers, upload programs, set up tooling, and inspect parts for conformance to specs.

Maintain coolant tanks and clean work areas to ensure quality and safety. Requires a high school diploma and 3–6 months of related experience, knowledge of G-code, and ability to read measurement tools.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC equipment.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and travelers; use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to produce parts per production requirements.
• Read blueprints and travelers to determine production requirements.
• Set up tooling and adjust offsets as required.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators; ensure conformance to specs.
• Maintain CNC equipment and coolant systems; keep a clean, safe work area.
