Job summary

StenTech is seeking a dependable Metals Machine Operator (CNC) to join our Hillsboro, OR facility. The role requires safe operation of CNC equipment, blueprint reading, setup of tooling, measurement using calipers and micrometers, and ensuring parts meet blueprints and quality standards.

The Swing Shift (Mon–Fri, 3:15 pm–11:45 pm) pays $25.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 swing differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays, life insurance, disability, EAP, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months related experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to read blueprints, travelers and use measurement tools.
• Knowledge of G&M codes and CNC equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely to produce parts per production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and travelers to confirm specs.
• Upload and edit CNC programs; set up tooling and adjust offsets.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers and indicators to ensure quality.
• Maintain CNC equipment and keep a clean, safe work area.
