Job summary

Major Tool & Machine, Inc. is looking for CNC Mill Machinists for the swing shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm-2:00 am) at our Tualatin, Oregon facility. This full-time position involves operating and managing CNC mills, ensuring high-precision machining and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with decimals.
• Experience with vertical machining centers is preferred.
• Familiarity with machining processes and control settings.

Responsibilities

• Start and observe machine operation.
• Check parts using precision measuring devices.
• Verify conformance of completed work to specifications.

Skills

Ability to read and understand drawings

Comfortable working with close tolerances

Ability to set up jobs and run first part

Ability to adjust programs

Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors
