Job summary

HFO Chicago, a Morris Group, Inc. division, seeks a skilled field service technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair Haas CNC machines at customer sites across the region.

You will reference manuals, diagnose high-voltage issues, replace components, and train operators on preventative maintenance. You’ll document service reports and stay updated on Haas product lines, collaborating with the Service Manager to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical/electrical repair or engineering experience with CNC equipment.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel regionally and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Haas CNC machines at customer sites.
• Provide after-sales technical support and customer training.
• Capture repair notes and installation status for internal teams.
• Stay current on Haas product lines and related tooling.
• Collaborate with Service Manager on field tasks and certifications.

Our mission: elevate productivity for precision manufacturers.Imagine ThisYou’re dispatched from home, keys to a company vehicle in hand (fuel covered), and head to a customer with a horizontal machining center that’s down. You reference online manuals, isolate a high-voltage issue, replace a component, run offsets and test parts, and then train operators on preventative maintenance.
