Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual lathes and mills, CNC lathes and mills, and waterjet equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Create and edit CNC programs, including G/M Codes and Mazatrol.
  • Set up machine fixtures and select appropriate tooling for production and engineering parts.
  • Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, depth gauges, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspect equipment for wear or damage.
  • Troubleshoot machining and production issues and assist with continuous improvement.
  • Train and support less-experienced machinists and operators as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

CNC / Manual Machinist

Pay: $27-33 DOE
Shift: Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri / 12hr per day

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Machinist to set up, operate, program, and troubleshoot CNC and manual machining equipment used to produce precision components. This position requires strong blueprint reading, machining, measurement, and quality-control skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards for accuracy and safety. The combined description reflects both the mid-level and senior-level responsibilities from the provided Machinist 2 and Machinist 3 descriptions.

Key Responsibilities
