Job summary

Wagner Spray Tech in Minnesota seeks an experienced CNC Manufacturing Supervisor to guide daily operations, drive safety, and ensure high-quality output within the CNC-Manufacturing area.

You will mentor staff, optimize processes, and collaborate across design, procurement, and manufacturing engineering to deliver cost-effective production. This is a full-time on-site role with strong benefits and profit-sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or CNC manufacturing/tool making, or equivalent years of work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive work experience within a CNC manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of supervision leading a CNC environment.
• Strong working knowledge of CNC Manufacturing Technology, tooling, programming, 6S, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs the daily business regarding time, cost, and quality within CNC-Manufacturing.
• Provides guidance, mentoring and leadership to new and existing staff within the department of CNC-Manufacturing.
• Confidentially handles usual, unusual, or difficult inquiries or situations, or may direct to the appropriate individual as needed.
• Accountable for safety rule compliance and prompt corrective action regarding hazards, coaching team to identify hazards and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Maintains product conformance by ensuring standard work is followed and equipment operates per specifications.
• Facilitates and supports daily Tier process to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
• Responsible for production planning and control of orders, capacity utilization, deadlines and processing time.
• Responsible for stock levels and master data of goods, and SAP workflows.
• Recommends and procures operating resources from outside vendors.
• Develops, implements, and tracks CNC department KPIs aligned to company goals.
• Supports Vertical Integration locally and collaborates with design, procurement, and manufacturing engineering groups.
• Supports continuous improvement, kaizen & 6S, problem solving, and daily improvements.
• Supports automation initiatives within CNC manufacturing.
• Participates in NPD projects providing DFM input for cost-effective production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
