Job summary
Magna's Cosma International division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with CNC machining experience to support our production operations and drive continuous improvement. You will develop, implement, and optimize machining processes for new and existing products, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve throughput and quality.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in CNC programming, tooling, fixtures, and lean manufacturing, with documented success in reducing cycle times
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 3+ years in CNC machining.
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling, turning, drilling, and multi‑axis machining.
- Experience with tooling, fixturing, GD&T, and process optimization.
- Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products.
- Evaluate and improve methods, tooling, fixtures, and equipment to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Support new product launches through process development, validation, and readiness activities.
- Analyze machining operations to reduce cycle times, improve throughput, and minimize scrap.
- Lead cross‑functional problem solving with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
