Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to create, maintain and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning centers at our Montville, NJ facility.

The role requires applying Gibbs/Mastercam and PRO-E CAD/CAM during design, setup, and continuous improvement activities. You will collaborate with engineers and shop staff to develop tools, fixtures and process documentation, while supporting lean initiatives and ensuring quality and safety compliance in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred, but not required).
• 2 years of Gibbs and/or Mastercam & PRO-E usage.
• High School or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Mfg. Engineering or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, organize, plan, prioritize, multi-task and achieve results.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints/technical drawings and using measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and refine detailed manufacturing documentation (Operation Sheets, Routers, setup/tooling sheets).
• Generate, optimize, validate and maintain CNC programs for milling and turning centers using Gibbs and PRO-E CAD/CAM.
• Design efficient tools and fixtures; oversee setup/fixture design and equipment layout.
• Monitor performance metrics and communicate status to management; implement corrective actions.
