Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. in Montville, NJ, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to create, maintain and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning centers, design tools/fixtures, and develop operation sheets and routers to support aerospace manufacturing.

The role requires 5 years in a machine shop, 2 years with Gibbs or Mastercam and PRO-E, and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering or related field. You will interact with internal and external teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure

Qualifications

5 years of related experience in a machine shop environment (Aerospace preferred, but not required).
2 years of Gibbs and/or Mastercam & PRO-E usage.
High School or (GED) Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Mfg. Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Abide by all safety, quality, housekeeping and company policies/procedures.
Create, maintain and refine detailed mfg. documentation (Operation Sheets, Routers, Set-up/Tooling sheets).
Generate, optimize, validate and maintain CNC programs for CNC milling and turning centers using Gibbs and PRO-E CAD/CAM.
Design tools and fixtures to support machine shop operations.
Define, monitor and communicate performance metrics to management and drive actions to resolve issues.
Train personnel to support goals of Manufacturing Eng. and machine shop operations.
Interact with internal/external stakeholders to support company initiatives.
