Job summary

GE Vernova in Bangor, Maine is seeking an engineer to define and control production processes, including tooling and equipment, and to validate shop-floor applications of new products and tools.

Candidate will develop manufacturing methods aligned with safety, delivery, and cost priorities, while gaining deep technical knowledge and functioning as an individual contributor with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of CNC experience (programming preferred).
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine and willing to work weekend shift 6AM-6:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support Lean Roadmap.
• Support New Product Introduction.

What you’ll do

Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal and time management skills.
• Regular participation in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Support CNC processes.

Required Qualifications

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $68,500.00 and $102,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
