Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an engineer to update and advance manufacturing processes focused on stability, cycle reduction and safety. You will work with design, quality and production teams to bring innovative solutions using CNC machining centers and CAD/CAM technology to produce critical infrastructure components.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering (or 2+ years of manufacturing experience with a diploma), CNC experience, and willingness to work Fri-Sun shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
  • At least 1 year of CNC experience (Programming preferred).
  • Willingness to work Fri-Sun 6am-6:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing methods aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities.
  • Understand how own work integrates with other teams.
  • Propose solutions outside of set parameters with minimal guidance.
  • Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support Lean Roadmap.
  • Support New Product Introduction and CNC processes.

Job Description Summary

Dynamic engineering position associated with updating and advancement of manufacturing processes focused on stability, cycle reduction and operational safety. Work closely with design engineering, quality, and production teams to bring innovative solutions to manufacturing environment, ensuring operations are Lean, agile, and cutting edge. Work with precision CNC machining centers and the latest CAD/CAM technology to produce critical infrastructure components powering the world.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters and with minimal guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
  • Regular participation in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
  • Support New Product Introduction.
  • Support CNC processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience)
  • At least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations
  • At least 1 year of CNC experience (Programming preferred)
  • Must be willing and able to work shift Fri- Sun 6am- 630pm.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus. This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on August 20, 2026.
