Job summary

RTX is hiring a Machine Operator II to set up and run CNC and manual machines, producing precision parts for one program with lo-moderate complexity. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and work under general supervision in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes quality testing, process improvements, and training newer operators, with potential for extended shifts and overtime as required by the business.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) or equivalent with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Manual dexterity to perform machine operations.
• Ability to train others and learn programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems and help develop new machining processes.
• Inspect products with precision gauges and measuring devices.
• Maintain and follow safety, quality, and process standards.
