Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in CNC and manual machining, committed to producing high-quality parts to exact specifications.

Responsibilities

1. Perform machining tasks safely and efficiently in an industrial shop environment, including Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, Boring, Slotting, Grinding, and Tapping.
2. Set up and operate CNC vertical and horizontal mills and lathes.
3. Load and run CNC programs, ensuring machine efficiency and accuracy.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and inspection results.
5. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
6. Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
7. Safely rig, move, and flip heavy parts using overhead cranes.
8. Monitor and maintain shop tooling.
9. Read and interpret blueprints at an advanced level.
10. Inspect and report on workpiece dimensions using inspection tools.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 10 years combined experience as a CNC and manual machinist.
2. Strong knowledge of blueprints, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
3. Proficiency in metrology and inspection tools.
4. Good attitude, attendance, and contribution to a safety-focused culture.
5. Knowledge of rigging and overhead cranes.
6. Availability for weekends and overtime.
7. Ability to stand for extended periods.
