Job summary

Primus Aerospace in Maryland is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to install, service, repair and optimize CNC machinery across lathes, mills and grinders. The role emphasizes preventing downtime and rapid issue resolution.

Candidates should have 5+ years in CNC maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, experience with Fanuc/Haas/Okuma controls, 480V power, and the ability to read schematics. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machinery including lathes, mills and grinders.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Assist with installation, relocation, leveling, and calibration of machines.
• Read manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams; manage spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to prioritize repairs and improve processes.
• Perform general facility maintenance and support lean manufacturing projects.
