Job summary
NMG Aerospace in Ohio is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and preventively maintain CNC machines and related equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and read schematics to identify faults, while upholding safety and CMMS documentation.
The role requires 3–5 years in CNC or industrial maintenance, familiarity with Fanuc/Mazak/Okuma controllers, and a technical degree or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
- 3–5 years of CNC machine maintenance or industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) and electrical/PLC systems.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; CMMS familiarity.
- Certifications in CNC or industrial maintenance are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on CNC and manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine Preventive Maintenance on CNC and manufacturing machines per schedule.
- Troubleshoot CNC control systems (Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, etc.).
- Research and source parts as needed; assist with installations and projects.
- Read schematics and manuals to identify faults; respond to maintenance tickets promptly.
- Maintain accurate CMMS records and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
