Job summary

Civil Recruit is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic to analyze, troubleshoot, maintain and repair CNC electro-mechanical systems across multiple sub-systems in a 100% on-site Franklin, MA facility.

The role requires 3–5 years of machine maintenance experience, familiarity with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain and Mazatrol controllers, and the ability to read schematics, document repairs, and work with ISO and FDA quality requirements. TPM and PM emphasis featured.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machine shop equipment in manufacturing.
• Read schematics, drawings, performance specs, and operating requirements of industrial equipment (electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic).
• Ability to program and operate CNC equipment to verify maintenance and repairs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Maintain and repair diverse machining equipment (5-axis mills, lathes, EDMs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems to root cause and document work.
• Plan repairs and coordinate with engineering to resolve issues quickly.
• Identify and communicate improvements to maintenance instructions and asset BOMs.
• Adhere to FDA quality system regulation, ISO13485 and ISO9001 policies.
• Tank cleanout and TPM with light repairs.
