Job summary

Finn-Kool is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair advanced CNC equipment in a high-mix, low-volume shop in Beloit, Kansas.

You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to keep HAAS, Doosan, and Okamoto machines running, calibrate Renishaw probes, document activity in ERP/MES systems, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience and a strong hands-on toolkit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing with CNC lathes/mills.
• Hands-on experience with HAAS VF-5/50, Doosan Puma 240/2600 series.
• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• CMRT/OSHA training or HAAS maintenance training preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HAAS, Doosan, and Okamoto equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on CNC machines.
• Calibrate Renishaw probes, tool setters, and live tooling systems.
• Document maintenance work in ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor).
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and assist with repairs.
• Support setup adjustments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold OSHA safety standards and 5S housekeeping.
