Job summary

Hornady Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for day shift to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related manufacturing systems at our Grand Island facility.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience maintaining or repairing CNC machines, machine tools or industrial equipment, plus working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of technical maintenance experience in CNC/machine tools or industrial equipment.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
Troubleshoot faults and determine root causes of equipment failures.
Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, pumps, sensors and other components.
Read and interpret manuals, schematics and mechanical drawings.
Assist with installation, setup, relocation and commissioning of equipment.
Identify recurring problems and suggest improvements to uptime.
Collaborate with machinists, production, engineering and maintenance teams.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
